A super easy way to take care of dirty dishes is by using tin foil! Just wad it up a bit and then use it to scrape dirty pans and dishes clean! Cheap, easy, and almost no work at all!
Just like with dishes, you can also use tin foil to scrape clean a dirty grill. Simply rub the aluminum foil onto any dirty part of the grill and the gunk should come right off!
I bet you never knew that you could clean and sharpen you scissors with aluminum foil! Fold a piece of foil and then just cut with the scissors. This action should quickly sharpen your scissors right back up!
I absolutely love this idea! Turn some tin foil into a really handy portable cupcake carrier. Mold a piece of tinfoil into a cupcake tin and remove it (to get the shape in the foil), place the cupcakes in the foil holder, and then wrap it with tin foil for a makeshift carrying bag.
If you’re in a pinch, you can use tin foil to create a makeshift funnel! Just fold and shape the foil and then you’re good to go!
One of my pet peeves when it comes to grilling is when things get drippy and melty and make a mess on and around my grill. So I just love this solution! Wrap and fold some foil around your grill spatulas to make a closed off mini grill tray!
Do you feel like you’re wasting money by buying dryer sheets? Well, if you do, then here’s a great solution! Bunch up some foil into little balls and then throw them in the dryer with your clothes. It won’t make your clothes smell better, but it will keep them static free!
Don’t waste money on silver wrapping paper for gifts. Instead, just use some higher quality tin foil to make almost identical silver wrapping paper! This makes your gift look shiny, fancy, and really nice!
Doing an impromptu photoshoot and you don’t have a backdrop? No problem! Tinfoil can be a great way to make it look better! Just attach it to the wall (maximize its shine) and then you should be good. Just make sure the background is just blurry enough to not tell it’s a bunch of aluminum foil!
Another great way to use aluminum foil in a photoshoot is as a makeshift reflector. The foil does a great job of diffusing and reflecting the light to make the dark spots of your picture look brighter! So smart and so cheap!
