  • Add a small chain or wire and a key chain ring to your zipper and tie it around the button to keep loose zippers up!
  • Don’t just throw away your favorite old pair of shoes because they have a hole in them! Use some fabric to patch them up and you can wear them again!
  • If you get makeup smudges on your clothes, no need to worry anymore! Apply some shaving cream to foundation stains and they should come right out!
  • Sweat stains are super obnoxious. But an easy way to fix them is to use vinegar, baking soda, salt, and hydrogen peroxide. Create a paste, rub it in, rinse, and repeat until the stain is gone!
  • When your favorite jeans rip, it can be sad. But fix it with a few patches of fabric that look great and solve the problem!

  • I hate when a loose string pops out. Tie a bobby pin around it and then tuck it back to on the inside of your clothes!
  • If you get some gum on your clothes, no worry. Scrape as much off as you can, and then freeze the article of clothing. Take it out a few hours later and you should be able to chip away at the gum!
  • For stuck zippers, take a crayon or other waxy material and rub it on the teeth. The zipper should slide right up.
  • Get rid of grease stains by applying chalk to them. This absorbs the grease and lightens up or completely removes the stain.
  • Get rid of ink stains by applying hairspray and hand sanitizer to them and then rinsing out the clothes.

  • Prevent sweaters from shredding by putting them in a bag in the freezer the night before you wear them.
  • You can also stick your jeans or shoes in a bag and then put them in the freezer to fight odor.
  • Try getting paint off your clothes by getting it wet with water and using a brush dipped in rubbing alcohol and then laundering like normal.
