Instead of dusting your fan blades and getting dust everywhere, use a pillow case! Put it around each fan blade and then pull back, trapping the dust inside the case!

Clean your mattress with baking soda and an essential oil. Mix the two together and sprinkle it onto the mattress. After a few hours, suck it up with a vacuum and you’re good!

If you have a pet, then quickly get fur out of the carpet or furniture by using a squeegee. Just run it across the surface and the hair will ball up!

You can also use a rubber glove to do this! Just put on the glove and drag your hand over the carpet or furniture. You’ll easily be able to pick up any fur.

If there’s a set in stain in the carpet, try this. Put a wet cloth over it and then put your iron over the rag. This should create a steam effect, that can help pull the stain up.

Instead of scrubbing away at your microwave for ends, just put a bowl of vinegar in it and run it for a few minutes. The gunk should easily come off once you’re done!

Make your dishwasher smell good and be clean by putting a bit of lemon Kool-Aid mix in the dish dispenser and then running it empty. The acid in the powder will eat away at most build-up.

Polish your chrome (including faucets), but using half a lemon. Just rub it on the chrome and rinse it to make the water stains go away. Repeat as necessary.

Make a mixture of baking soda and vinegar and place the paste on your oven door or wherever else there is gunk. Let it sit for a few hours and then wipe it off and rinse it down. The gunk should easily come off now.

You can use cream of tartar to help polish your stainless steel. Just rub it onto the appliance, let it sit for a while, and then wipe it down. The stainless steel should be shiny like new!

If your showerhead hasn’t been working well, try this. Tie a baggy around it that’s full of vinegar. Let it sit there for a few hours and then remove the bag. The gunk should all have dissolved!

Dusting blinds can be super obnoxious, but here’s a great way to do it. Put a microfiber cloth on the end of your tongs and then use them to clean the top and bottom of each blind. So much faster!

Use kosher salt and a lemon to better clean and deodorize your cutting board. Place the salt onto the board and then rub it in with half of a lemon. What a great natural solution!

If someone gets grease stains on the wall, furniture, or carpet, quickly apply chalk! Let it sit for a while and then wipe or vacuum it up! The grease should absorb most of the grease, making the stain much less apparent!

Clean your baseboards and help them avoid more dust by rubbing them down with dryer sheets! This actually works and it keeps them shiny and dust-free for longer than just a normal rag!
