I love tiered trays because they not only look fancy, but they double or even triple your storage space! They allow you to use vertical space, which would just be impossible without them.

One of the biggest clutter issues in the kitchen is paper clutter. It comes from work, school, bills, mail, etc. Get a filing system in order so that paper clutter goes away!

Attach rods to the backsplash of your kitchen and then hang baskets from them! It’s a super easy addition that pretty much doubles the storage space on your counter and makes compartmentalizing so much easier.

Get a magnetized board or strip to hold your spices and/or knives. A strip is good for your knives, just make sure it’s secure. For spices, just get jars with magnetized lids and then stick them to wherever the magnet board is!

Another big cause of kitchen counter clutter is appliances. We often feel like we need to have all our appliances out (just in case), but we don’t. ONLY keep the ones you use on a daily basis. Everything else (like the waffle maker, blender, etc.) can get tucked away until you need it.

If you just can’t bear the idea of putting away your appliances in a cupboard, then get appliance hiders. You’ll have to get them installed, but they slide over or down to cover any appliances while not in use.

If you have extra wall space then attach some baskets to them that allow you to store your kitchen supplies in a more organized manner than just sprawled across the countertop. Make sure everyone can reach them and that they aren’t in the way.

A tray for the kitchen countertop is a GENIUS idea! Not only does it look great, but it also prevents your things from slowly taking over the counter. The edges of the tray make it so that things stay in one confined area.

Wire baskets attached to the bottom of shelves or cupboards, or well placed on the counter, are also a good idea. I like using this for my cookbooks because it makes them look classy and nice.

Attach some hooks to the walls or sides of the cabinets so that you have more storage space. You can attach as many or as few hooks as you need, just put enough to meet your needs!
