Grab an old sock (from that endless pile with no matches), and it becomes the perfect blind cleaning tool. It helps you to clean both sides of the blind at the same time. Just slip the sock on your hand, dip it in a 50/50 solution of water and white vinegar, then swipe the sock over the slats for a quick and easy clean blinds! This clever idea is from Today.

I have used all of these ideas on my blinds and they really work, but i have found none of them to work in 30 seconds. As much as I wish it were otherwise really getting your blinds clean takes time. The dusting with the feather duster (I use a swiffer duster), takes only a couple of minutes per blind, which is still four times as long as 30 seconds.

I think that your sock and vinegar soap solution sounds like the best thing since sliced bread. I am sure going to give that one a try. It appeals to me and my way of cleaning. Now going to give ’em blinds the shock of their lives!
