  • If you put a little work in, you can make a gorgeous rag rug made from all of your old sheets. You just need to tie them together.
  • Sheets are great for homemade Halloween costumes. You can use them to make the classic ghost costume.
  • You can also use the sheets to make Halloween decorations. I love using sheets to make ghosts to stick in my yard or cut them up for giant spider webs.
  • Wrap your seasonal or sensitive clothes in old bed sheets. They will protect them from dust, light damage, and other problems.

  • Keep your sleeping bags clean with this hack. Just sew sheets together to make a liner that you can slip in and out of sleeping bags.
  • Don’t get paint on the floor. Instead, throw an old bed sheet down and use it as a drop cloth.
  • You could make some doll clothes out of sheets. Just cut them out and fit them to the dolls that your kids have.

  • Make a tablecloth out of your old sheets. Just find a nice pattern that matches the color and style of your kitchen or dining room.
  • A super easy use for old sheets is to simply use them as rags. Cut them up into small pieces and that’s it.
  • Lay a sheet underneath a berry bush and use it to catch the falling berries! Just gather together the ends and bring them inside.
  • If there’s a sudden deep freeze or hail storm, then throw your old sheets over your plants. It won’t keep them 100% safe, but it will help quite a bit.
  • For those of you who like acting or making sets, then sheets are a great item! You can cut pieces out for colorful sets.
