- When possible, get hide away storage. This is storage that you can put away or hide so that it doesn’t look like storage. Anything from hidden panels in the wall to a curtain to cover containers.
- If you’re out buying new furniture, then get pieces that double as storage. For example, you can get an ottoman that opens up and has storage inside. How cool!
- If you want to go for that nice vintage look with your storage devices, then distress them. Usually you can just take a piece of sandpaper to distress, but it depends on the material.
