Grease tends to go unnoticed for an extremely long amount of time. You don’t notice the buildup until your cabinets are covered in thick grease. Instead of considering replacing your entire kitchen cabinet set, here are sure fire ways to get that unsightly grease removed from your cabinets.
If your grease buildup hasn’t quite reaches epic porportions, all you need is Dawn soap! Following the grain of the wood, wash with soapy water and rinse clean with a sponge.
Another great option is to sprinkle baking soda onto a damp cloth and scrub the cabinets clean.
Vinegar can be used to clean absolutely anything, including cabinet grease. Use two cups water, 2 tablespoons of dishsoap, a cup of white vinegar, and some elbow grease to get your cabinets shining again.
If it is too bad to clean off with any of the above methods, add a cup of Borax to the vinegar mixture previously.
