- Look at your newly empty space and the things that you really need to live in that space, and decide how you want it to look in order to make your life easier. In other words, it’s not the stuff that dictates how you live–YOU dictate how you live!
- A crucial part of staying organized is the understanding that you don’t have to keep stuff in your life just because it showed up somewhere along the way. Make a commitment not to beat yourself up over the things you decide to let go from your life. Take photos of stuff you want to remember but don’t have space for. Remind yourself as often as necessary that you aren’t defined by your things.
